DR. ALBERT LIEM Alberta Research
Council Dr. Albert Liem is a Research Scientist in the areas of air and water pollution and waste management using physical/chemical and biological processes for the Alberta Research Council in Vegreville, Alberta, Canada.
Current activities include:
Prior to joining the Alberta Environmental Council, Inc., Liem was involved with short-term consultancies with World Health Organization in waste management; and Domtar Research Centre, Quebec, Canada, in combustion for recovery of spent pulping liquor and air pollution abatement in Kraft mills.
Dr. Liem received
his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University, Hamilton,
Ontario, Canada; and his B.E. and M.E.Sc. from the University of Queensland,
