DR. KIRPAL SINGH
University of
Papua New Guinea
Kirpal Singh is
a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Papua New
Guinea. Dr. Singh was appointed to the board of the Pacific Basin Consortium
last April 2000.
Relevant experience
includes the following:
- Analysis of
industrial wastes from various industries in Port Moresby
- Analysis of
quality of wastes from mining industry in PNG
- Analysis of
quality of drinking water in PNG, treated water, river water, lake
and well waters.
Prior to joining
the University of Papua New Guinea, Dr. Singh was involved with the
following universities:
- Ahmadu Bello
University in Nigeria as Professor
- University of
Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania as Senior Lecturer
- University of
Berne in Switzerland as Research Associate
- Imperial College
of Science and Technology in London as Academic Visitor
- University of
Louvian, Belguim as Research Assistant
- University of
Amsterdam, The Netherlands as Scientific Collaborator
- University of
Delhi, India as Lecturer.
Dr. Singh received
his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and M. Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry
from the University of Delhi.
