The
Training Course on Hazardous Waste Inventory and Assessment
of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) is a three-day live-in seminar
held last May 22 - 25, 2001 at the Eugenio Lopez Center, Sumulong
Highway, Antipolo City, Philippines.
The training
course was sponsored by the Department of Environment and Natural
Resources - Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB), United
States - Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP), and the United
States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). The course was
organized by the Pacific Basin Consortium for Hazardous Waste
Research and Management (PBC).
Key lecturers
from USEPA were invited as resource speakers. A total of 33
participants, mostly from the Government, attended the training
course. The agencies represented by the participants are as
